Envision AI and Solos Announce Affordable Ally-Enabled Smart Glasses for Blind and Low Vision Users

Envision AI has announced an exciting new partnership that will bring its Ally software to a new, more affordable hardware option — the Solos AirGo V Smart glasses.  The collaboration promises a lightweight, splash-resistant, and screen-free way to interact with the Ally assistant, designed to make life easier for blind and low vision users.

With the new Ally Solos Glasses, users can simply speak to perform a range of tasks, including:

  • Reading text from books, signs, menus, or mail.
  • Describing surroundings, people, and scenes.
  • Recognizing people, objects, and signage.
  • Answering questions, giving reminders, or checking calendars.
  • Holding natural conversations, with Ally remembering context.

All interactions happen via subtle open-ear audio, keeping users aware of their surroundings while seamlessly connected to Ally through the Ally app on iOS or Android. This is the same Ally assistant many already use — now available in a truly hands-free form.

The official launch will be unveiled during an online Zoom webinar on 14 August 2025, and anticipation is high for this new tool in accessible wearable technology.
